Together they emphasise its clutter free linear design with uninterrupted lines and undeniable quality. We love the visual impact made by this range of appliances, especially with the trademark copper trim of the Dolce Novo range. Our client opted for a built-in microwave, oven, wine cooler, sommelier drawer and warming drawer. To quote the Smeg website, the range offers the potential to ‘create any culinary creation with ease and style.’
Looking to the end of the kitchen you’ll see the warmth of New Hampshire Oak in full height units framing a large Fisher Paykel American style fridge freezer. Pantry layouts behind closed doors gives our client extra storage space too. We also provided boot room units for coats and bags to carry the theme beyond the kitchen space.
A bora recirculating hob placed in the island gives our client a more open kitchen with space over their island not restricted due to a bulky overhead island extractor. Alternatively, a clever recirculating extractor is located within the Bora hob. Lighting also played an important role in this design. With such a dark cabinet colour, we wanted enough lighting to showcase it while allowing the room to feel open and welcoming, so we added an LED Surround to the American fridge freezer and central kitchen island to bounce that light around the room most effectively.
